Laurie Bryan
Construction Manager Laurie Bryan’s path at Allan Myers started early, inspired by her family and a lifelong interest in building. Both her father and uncle worked at the company and often shared their experiences and lessons learned from being out on the job site.
She joined the company while still in high school and returned full-time after earning her civil engineering degree from Virginia Tech, starting on a crew before moving into project engineering and management roles.
Over the past 20 years, Laurie has worked across a range of major projects, from airports and rail to highways and water infrastructure. She played a key role on the I-66 Express Lanes project and continues to lead work across Northern Virginia, overseeing multiple projects and helping grow new areas of the business.
In 2024, she became Allan Myers’ first female Construction Manager.
Laurie is also committed to developing others, mentoring young engineers and helping guide their growth. As a founder of Women at Allan Myers (W@AM) and an active advocate for women in construction, she works to strengthen recruitment, support, and advancement across the company and industry.
