Ben Bushey

Ben Bushey is known for his ability to win work, build strong teams, and deliver results that exceed expectations. 

He joined Allan Myers after graduating from Penn State, starting as a Field Engineer on a major Pennsylvania Turnpike project with a focus on concrete and bridge work. He also supported safety efforts in the field. 

In 2009, he relocated to Virginia to support the company’s growth and expanding design-build work, an area that aligned with his interests. Since then, he has advanced from Project Engineer to Project Manager, Construction Manager, and now General Manager, leading complex work across the central Virginia region.  

Ben’s leadership combines strong customer relationships with a hands-on approach to developing his teams. He motivates, mentors, and develops superintendents, engineers, and field leaders while adapting his approach to meet the differing demands of both public and private work. He is also a problem-solver who innovates new ways to build a project more efficiently, more economically, and more safely.
