Jack Newnam
Jack Newnam built his career at Allan Myers by stepping up when it mattered most and delivering results. He joined the company in 1992 as an excavator operator and quickly filled a leadership gap on a Pennsylvania pipe crew, earning a promotion to foreman in less than four weeks. Two years later he was a pipe superintendent.
His grit and determination drove continued advancement into project and regional leadership roles, where he played a key role in growing the company’s pipe work. In 2009, Jack moved to Northern Virginia to help expand operations, taking on the challenge of a smaller, developing market.
Over time, he transformed Virginia’s paving operation into a highly successful business unit, now overseeing paving and milling, fleet, equipment, and transportation across the state. His leadership has helped drive significant growth in both operations and infrastructure, including his role in the early opening of the I-66 toll road.
Now, as Executive Vice President, Construction, Jack continues to lead with the same drive and attention to detail that have defined his career from day one
